58 INDICIOS SOBRE EL CUERPO
Performance in collaboration with 58 performers based on French philosopher Jean-Luc Nancy’s homonymous text, in which the bodies share a reduced space, getting rid of their garments and marking their scars and life-marks with mud and through dance. Thus, fifty eight performers enter the scene with the unhurriedness of those aware of owning their time. The series is identical: each one undresses, leaves his/her clothes in the center of the scene, approaches a microphone and says his/her indice text, whose number -printed in each of back- works as a skin mark or identity inscription. The body is tangible, intangible, visible; sheer externality, difference, alterity; it is prison or God; it’s a corpse or it’s glorious.
